BenQ AQCOLOR technology delivers “Accurate Reproduction.” This translates to the display of color precisely as it is intended to appear. Led by a color expert, the BenQ team took part in the ICC* and ISO** to establish color-related standards and implementation guidelines.
Each BenQ Photographer Monitor is individually factory-calibrated upon production to assure precise Delta-E and Gamma performance. Achieving an average Delta E≤2 in both Adobe RGB & sRGB color spaces, calibration results are validated against industry color standards to deliver the most representative view of original content.
*Calibration eliminates slight color performance variations between individual panels of the same model. Therefore, the calibration data of each report will vary slightly from reports from other displays of the same model.
High Dynamic Range (HDR) increases the overall dynamic range between black and white so the resulting image appears closer to what your eyes see in the natural world.
*To view HDR content from your device, use the HDMI cable provided with the SW271 monitor or an High Speed HDMI Cable or Premium High Speed HDMI Certified Cable.
*HDR function supports HDR10 content.
The SW271 includes a detachable shading hood that effectively reduces the monitor’s screen glare from ambient lighting, ensuring superb color accuracy for professional results. The shading hood works in portrait and landscape orientations.
SW271 offers USB-C connectivity to transmit video and data with only one cable so you can do hardware calibration with ease. The USB-C port smoothly displays brilliant 4K contents and offers up to 5Gbps transfer rate.
View your photos in a black and white film effect. Choose from three different presets to preview your photos in before you perform actual adjustments in your photo processing program.
GamutDuo enables you to view content simultaneously in different color spaces side-by-side for comparison. Switch to PIP/PBP mode to enable GamutDuo.
*USB-C is compatible with Thunderbolt 3. The user should check the compatibility of the host device with USB-C. The compatibility list can be downloaded from here.
*The transmission rate of USB-C™ can vary. For more information please check out the user’s guide.
