Why can't the speaker be turned on?

Please make sure that: 

  1. You are using the BenQ AC power adapter that came with the speaker.
  2. The speaker is connected to a working AC (mains) outlet to restore the battery to operational mode and charge the battery.
  3. You have performed a hard reset by holding the power button for 10 seconds.
