How can I check the Android TV OS version and Software version on my BenQ Google TV projector?

You can see the Android TV OS version and Software version by following the steps below:

  • Android TV OS version: From the Google TV Home screen, go to Settings > All Settings > System > About > Android TV OS Version
  • Software version: From the Google TV Home screen, go to Settings > All Settings > System > About > Software Version

 

From the About menu, you also could find the following settings:

  • System update: You can update Google TV if there's a new Google TV version available when the projector is connected to the Internet.
  • Device name: Projector name you would see while using screen casting from an iOS/macOS/Android device or using the projector as a Bluetooth speaker. You can change the name of your projector.
  • Reset: Factory reset and restore your projector to factory settings
  • Status: You can find basic projector information like IP address, Device MAC address, Bluetooth address, Serial Number, and Uptime.
