If you experience one or more black screens when connecting your laptop or other devices to the DP1310, try the following:
Make sure the DP1310 is fully powered on (press the button for 3 seconds).
Ensure you've connected the DP1310 and your devices correctly. Check the
following instructions or the DP1310 how-to video for details
Check that the USB-C port on your laptop supports DisplayPort Alt Mode (DP
Alt Mode), or try to connect using another laptop that supports DP Alt Mode.
Ensure you've downloaded and installed the latest driver from DisplayLink.
The quality of cable is highly related to display quality. Use the provided
HDMI 2.1 & USB-C cables, or try replacing your current HDMI & DisplayPort
cables to solve the black screen issue.
If you have already tried the above and still can't solve the problem, please contact BenQ Customer Support for further assistance. Please describe in full which troubleshooting actions you performed already so they can assist you more efficiently.
