How can I benefit from multi-screen setups via Multi-Stream Transport (MST)?

Extend your screen across more visual displays without clutter in your workspace by following several steps. Please click and follow the instructions below, or read on to learn more about this topic.

Set up multi-screen displays with Multi-Stream Transport (MST) by following below steps:

1. Power on all monitors and enable DisplayPort 1.2 and/or MST in the settings menu of each monitor

2. Connect your laptop to monitor 1 by one of two ways:

• Connect the "DisplayPort Out" on your laptop to the "DisplayPort In" on the monitor using a DisplayPort cable

• Or, connect the "DisplayPort over the USB-C Out" on your laptop to the "DisplayPort over USB-C In" on the monitor using a USB-C cable

3. Connect the "DisplayPort Out" on monitor 1 to the "DisplayPort In" on monitor 2 using a DisplayPort cable

4. Repeat step 3 for subsequent monitors

NOTE:

* If using Mac, try with a Windows system. MST is available on Mac OS via Thunderbolt connection only

* Please make sure that your graphic card supports DP 1.4 for MST and note that the supported number of monitors for connection may vary by graphic card
