GeForce NOW app for Steam Deck finally released on May 29, 2025

The day has finally arrived. As of May 29, 2025, the native GeForce NOW app is officially available on the Steam Deck. Gamers can now stream titles in up to 4K at 60FPS with HDR10 when connected to a TV—and even enjoy 120FPS on supported displays. The app offers full support for NVIDIA’s latest RTX technologies, including DLSS 4, Reflex, and real-time ray tracing, delivering a premium visual experience from virtually anywhere. Follow the guide to make high-end streaming even more accessible on the go.

What is GeForce NOW?

GeForce NOW is a cloud-based gaming service that lets you stream games on your Steam Deck.

It allows you to play games that your Steam Deck might not support due to hardware limits and run games you already own using NVIDIA’s powerful cloud servers.

Benefits of using GeForce NOW on Steam Deck

  • Play games that are not supported on Steam (e.g. Fortnite)
  • Better performance than playing natively on the Steam Deck
  • Low power wattage consumption

With a free account, you can play for up to one hour per session—perfect for testing how well it runs on your setup or casually jumping into a game. Just sign up, log in, and you're ready to stream.
