By entering the Event, participants (“you” or “Participant”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

How to Enter and Qualify Visit the CAMPAIGN PAGE [https://www.benq.com/en-us/campaign/game-night-video-contest.html]. On the landing page, you must choose either Option 1, Current BenQ Projector Users or Option 2, No BenQ Projector, No Problem! for entry. No double entries will be accepted. The entry must be received by BenQ between May 27, 2025 00:00 CT and July 31, 2025 23:59 CT.

Option 1:

a. Navigate to the Option 1 section on the CAMPAIGN PAGE.

b. Click the form link under the “Current BenQ Projector Users” section to access the entry form:

i. Provide your name, email, and username (for display purposes if you prefer to keep your real name private) to register as a BenQ member.

ii. Answer the required survey questions.

c. Video Submissions

i. Primary Video Submission—Submit one vertically filmed short video of a game night with your friends, family, or significant other, using a BenQ projector (“Primary Video”). The Video shall be video-only and should not include any background music, sound effects, or other audio tracks.

ii. Optional Video Submission—An optional video submission may be separately provided (“Optional Video”), demonstrating the idea and style of the Video. The optional video submission may be accompanied by music background, sound effects or audio track.

Option 2:

a. Navigate to the Option 2 section on the CAMPAIGN PAGE.

b. Click the form link under the “No BenQ Projector, No Problem!” section to access the entry form:

i. Provide your name, email, and username (for display purposes if you prefer to keep your real name private) to register as a BenQ member

ii. Provide your social media handles (must be public).

iii. Answer the required survey questions.

iv. Optional but bonus: Share sample videos you’ve created in the past

c. Idea/Storyboard Submissions

i. Submit a video storyboard using a template by BenQ that outlines how you plan to create your game night short video.

ii. IF SELECTED AS A WINNER, YOU MUST AGREE TO CREATE AND SHARE THE FINAL SHORT VIDEO FEATURING THE X SERIES PROJECTOR PRIZE. Participants selected under Option 2 acknowledge and agree that receipt of the X500i projector is conditional upon their submission of the final short video as outlined in their storyboard. If a selected participant fails to deliver the final video within the required timeframe after receiving the prize, BenQ reserves the right to request the return of the X500i

projector. The participant shall bear all costs associated with the return, unless otherwise waived by BenQ in writing.

You must be 18 or older and be residents of the United States. The Contest is void wherever restricted or prohibited by law.

BenQ reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this Contest, including its termination, at any time.

a.     Original Content Only

Video Submissions must be original and should not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of a third party.

b.     Video Content

Video Submissions must feature a game night scenario in which participants are playing console games with others, using a BenQ projector.

c.     Video Format

Video Submissions should be vertically filmed (9:16 ratio) and 30-90 seconds long.

Primary Video must be video only. Optional Video may include music, sound effect or audio track. 

This is a skills contest, and the winning will be selected based on skill, creativity, and talent - not on chance. The winning video will be determined based on the following criteria by a panel of BenQ employees whose decision will be final and the details of the deliberation process will not be shared:

Option 1:

Two (2) winners will be selected based on

o   Creativity (40%)

o   Video Quality (40%)

o   Message Delivery (20%)

•  How well the video conveys that “With the 100-150” huge screen, BenQ projectors enhance the gaming experience, especially during sessions with your loved ones”

Option 2:

Two (2) winners will be selected based on

o   Creativity (40%)

o   Clarity & Structure (25%)

o   Message Delivery (25%)

o   Feasibility & Execution Potential (10%)

o   Bonus Points (Up to +10%) – Based on Past Work Samples Provided by Participants

• Overall quality and creativity
• Editing and storytelling skills
• Tone and style

BenQ may disqualify Participants if a) the Entry is incomplete, b) Qualification are not met, or c) criminal or illegal acts are committed or allegedly committed in the process of participation.

Option 1:

Each winner gets one (1) Game Night Mystery Box, created by BenQ.

Option 2:

Each winner gets one (1) X500i.

Winners will be selected and notified via the email address provided during contest registration within one week of the contest’s end.

Selected participants will have three days to respond and claim their prize.

If no response is received within the three-day window, BenQ will select an alternative winner.

BenQ reserves the right to replace the Prize with items of similar value without prior notice. Participants may not seek for substitutions, transfers, or cash equivalents in the Contest.

Prizes will only be delivered to a valid physical address in the continental United States Hawaii, Alaska. P.O. boxes will not be accepted as valid addresses. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by BenQ, other than the applicable manufacturer’s product warranty. Allow 4-6 weeks after verification of winner status and for the receipt of a prize.

You represent and guarantee that the photo/material you submit under this Contest will not infringe on the intellectual or other rights of any third party. You shall not sub-license, re-sell, rent, lend, assign, gift or otherwise transfer or distribute the Template provided by BenQ.   

You hereby grant to BenQ a non-exclusive, royalty free, global, and perpetual license to use your review and photos/material for BenQ’s marketing, promotion, and sales activities in any medium, including without limitation social media and BenQ’s and its BenQ affiliate websites, without compensation.

If required by BenQ, you agree to provide a written document to memorialize the license granted under this Section 5 as a formality. However, you agree that lack of such written document does not invalidate or affect in any manner the license granted under the Contest, which will be valid and enforceable under the terms herein. 

Each Participant agrees that any personal information provided by them will be: (a) processed in accordance with the BenQ Privacy Policy, which is available at https://www.benq.com/en-us/policy/privacy-policy.html; and (b) used by BenQ and their respective agents and suppliers to administer the Contest and to enable BenQ to publicize the Contest, before and after, in any media.

BenQ’s Privacy Policy describes our practices concerning data that you provide or that we may collect about you arising from your participation in the Contest, and you consent to our use of such data in compliance with the Privacy Policy. 

BenQ is not liable for the lack of accuracy, completeness, and security of any data input or output, content, or services not offered by BenQ, or any loss or damage to a Participant’s (or any other person’s) account, devices, data, or virtual properties related to or resulting from participating in the Contest, including but not limited to downloading any materials, delivery failure, equipment failure, and technical malfunction of systems, satellites, networks, internet connectivity, servers, computer hardware, or software. Participants are responsible for implementing sufficient procedures and precautions to satisfy their particular requirements for anti-virus protection and accuracy of data, and preservation and reconstruction of lost data. BenQ assumes no responsibility, and will not be held liable for, any conduct or statement by any Participant.

BenQ is also not liable and assumes no liability to any person for any loss, dissatisfaction, or damage arising from the Prize and uses thereof. Reward recipient shall not make any claims against BenQ.

BenQ disclaims all liability for any delays, loss, or failure in the delivery of the reward notification due to mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone, computer, hardware, internet, or software errors, malfunctions, or failures of any kind. In such an eventuality, the reward recipient unconditionally waives his/her right to the Prize and any associated compensation.

EACH INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPANT HEREIN AGREES THAT IN NO EVENT OR CIRCUMSTANCES WILL BENQ, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, OR DIRECTORS, OR BENQ INFLUENCERS (COLLECTIVELY THE “BENQ PARTIES”), BE LIABLE FOR CLAIMS, DAMAGES OR LIABILITY OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, CAUSE OF ACTION OR NEGLIGENCE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF, OR INABILITY TO PARTICIPATE IN, THE EVENT, AT ANY TIME AND FOR ANY PERIOD, INCLUDING ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, WHETHER BASED ON TORT, NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF THE BENQ PARTIES MAY HAVE BEEN ADVISED ACCORDINGLY.

These Terms and Conditions and the BenQ Privacy Policy constitute the sole and entire agreement between You and the BenQ regarding the Event and supersede all prior and contemporaneous, written and oral, understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.

No waiver by BenQ of any term or condition set out in these Terms and Conditions will be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of the BenQ to assert a right or provision hereunder will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision will be eliminated or limited to its minimal enforceable extent, while all remaining provisions of the Terms and Conditions will continue in full force and effect.

Any disputes hereunder will be adjudicated under the laws of the State of California, and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in Orange County, California and specifically waive any rights to any other jurisdiction or venue. The prevailing party will be awarded attorney’s fees.
