In order to provide visual comfort and homogeneous lighting for your sheet music, we enhanced the illumination of the lower half of the page to avoid eye discomfort caused by glare.
The light is reflected at a wide angle, keeps all 88 keys evenly lit.

PianoLight provides a color temperature adjustment range of 2700K-5000K, as well as 15 different brightness levels. The warm, yellow color temperature of 2700K features low blue-light levels, which has no effect on the secretion of melatonin and so helps maintain good sleep quality. White light above 4000K is shown to help you concentrate. Adjust the brightness and color temperature to meet your lighting needs!

Do you often forget to turn on the light while practicing the piano? No need to worry with BenQ PianoLight! When Presence Detection mode is active, the built-in infrared sensor will turn on the light when you sit down to play—and turn it back off when you leave!
The main structure of the piano is composed of a solid back post (usually beech or maple) and metal wire frames. This is how strings are wound. In the final stage of manufacturing, piano builders will align the top cover to the main supporting structure. PianoLight features a groove in the base to make sure it doesn’t get in the way of the hinges found on top of most pianos.
We worked with piano manufacturers to make sure that PianoLight is not heavy enough to have an effect on the piano’s structure, and used protective, non-slip rubber on the bottom to protect the surface of your piano from scratches. It also serves as a cushion to minimize sound resonance!
