DMS Client

DMS Client links with DMS Cloud so the smart display can be managed from a single console.

InstaShare 2

Users can wirelessly share content and control other device screens using the InstaShare 2 host app on the smart display.

BenQ Notifications

Receive real-time announcements related to the smart display and other installed applications.

X-Sign

Showcase scheduled or real-time content through the smart display. The app also allows for sending scheduled announcements and real-time alerts.

Installing an app

  1. Ensure that the display is connected to the internet.
  2. Select More .
  3. Select BenQ App Store.
  4. On the left menu, select any of the app libraries.
    The available apps are listed.
  5. Select the app to download.
  6. Select Download.
    The system automatically downloads and installs the app.
  7. Restart the display.

Updating an app

  1. Ensure that the display is connected to the internet.
  2. Select More .
  3. Select BenQ App Store.
  4. On the left menu, select any of the app libraries.
    The available apps are listed.
  5. Select the app to update.
  6. Select Update.
    The system automatically downloads and installs the update.
  7. Restart the display.

Updating all apps

  1. Ensure that the display is connected to the internet.
  2. Select More .
  3. Select BenQ App Store.
  4. On the left menu, select  .
  5. Select Update All.
  6. The system automatically downloads and installs all available updates.
  7. Restart the display.

Rolling back an app to an older version

Note

Only BenQ-developed apps can be rolled back to an older version.

  1. Select Settings  .
  2. Select Apps.
  3. Select the app from the list.
  4. Select  > Uninstall updates.

Uninstalling an app

Note

Only third-party apps can be uninstalled from the smart signage.

  1. Select .
  2. Select Settings .
  3. Select Apps.
  4. Select the app from the list.
  5. Select Uninstall.
