  • Device compatibility

Secure Sharing

The VS20 is one of the most secure wireless presentation systems available today. In addition to encrypting presentations, the product has been tested by third-party security firms against known hacks involving both physical tampering and other techniques. When using the CX-30, Barco's original software must be running to ensure that all the data is protected from malware. This is in addition to an app that must be installed to be able to use the device. If visitors are presenting, they must also have these tools installed to be able to present on the device.

Device Compatibility

When purchasing a new device, compatibility is very important. The goal in a conference room is for everyone to be able to use the device no matter what system they are on.

Whether it's HDMI or USB-C the VS20 allows users to connect to nearly any device. The ability to switch button connectors makes it easy to adapt to non-computer devices or have a guest present without having to worry about what type of device they want to use.  Although it’s designed for conference rooms, the InstaShow allows users to connect to gaming consoles, Blu-Ray players, media players, and even digital cameras.

Video and Audio Functionality
BenQ Instashow VS20

Presenting with the VS20 gives users smooth and reliable native 4K streaming right from the button. The device has the capability to split the screen four ways for even more ways to present. It also has a built-in microphone system. The microphone has echo canceling to enhance quality and each button microphone creates a range of 4 feet away for clear audio no matter where in the room users are.

The CX-30 also has 4K resolution, however, it does use the microphone of the device it is plugged into so there is a slight limitation with audio in that sense. With a two-way split screen, the device allows users to connect simultaneously when presenting.
