1. Image Blurring Caused by Structural Reverberation
Inadequate stand design can amplify micro-vibrations from projector cooling fans. Poor materials or multi-component construction may transmit or intensify these vibrations, resulting in visible image blur that reduces perceived sharpness, especially noticeable with 4K content.
2. Gradual Image Drift During Use
Stands with insufficient friction control cannot maintain position under the weight of a 6.6 lbs / 3 kg projector. Over time, the image gradually shifts downward, requiring constant readjustment and disrupting the viewing experience.
3. Uncontrolled Drop During Adjustment
Heavier projectors can be difficult to control precisely during tilt adjustments. Without proper damping, unlocking mechanisms may cause abrupt drop and impact. This jarring movement risks optical misalignment and potential component damage, a costly issue for any projector owner.
