To help ensure your monitor or projector arrives safely and without damage, we have outlined packing steps below that describe methods commonly used to protect similar products during transit. While the choice of how to package your product is entirely yours, these guidelines are provided as a reference to assist you in preparing your shipment and to help reduce the risk of damage in transit.
Note: BenQ is not liable for any damage that may occur during transit, even if the product is packaged using the steps outlined below. These steps are intended as a general guide and do not guarantee prevention of shipping damage. Any product received in damaged condition will be evaluated upon arrival and may be considered out of warranty or subject to repair fees. |
● Place the monitor inside a full bubble-wrap encasing, such as an inflatable protective sleeve, or wrap it securely
in multiple layers of thick bubble wrap. This helps shield the panel from impact and prevents scratches during transit.
● Fit foam or molded corner protectors around the monitor’s frame.
● If unavailable, wrap the entire monitor in several layers of bubble wrap, securing it with tape.
● Place the projector inside its original molded foam or protective inserts to keep it securely in place within the box.
● If the original foam is unavailable, use thick, form-fitting padding or multiple layers of bubble wrap to fully encase the
projector, securing it with tape to prevent movement during transit.
● Use the original projector box and molded foam inserts if available.
● If the original packaging is not available, choose a sturdy, double-walled shipping box at least 2–3 inches larger than the
projector on all sides.
● Line the bottom with at least 2 inches of packing peanuts, foam, or crumpled paper to provide cushioning.
● Place the monitor upright or position the projector securely in the center of the box.
● Ensure the product is fully supported with foam corner pieces, molded foam inserts, or thick foam padding on all sides to
prevent movement.
● Fill any remaining gaps with additional foam padding to eliminate shifting during transit. Avoid using loose paper or other
materials that can shift or compress during shipping.
● Close the box and seal all seams with strong packing tape.
● Mark the box with "Fragile" and "This Side Up" labels.
By shipping your product to BenQ, you acknowledge and agree that BenQ is not liable for any damage that may occur during transit. Any product received in damaged condition will be inspected upon arrival and evaluated for warranty coverage at BenQ’s sole discretion. If shipping damage is identified, BenQ may file a claim with the carrier (e.g., FedEx); however, claim approval is determined solely by the carrier and is not guaranteed.
