Touch misalignment occurs when the aspect ratio of your laptop's output does not perfectly match the meeting room's Interactive Flat Panel (IFP). Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
- Set to Duplicate Mode: Always project your screen in Duplicate mode. Using "Extend" mode will cause touch point offsets.
- Match the Laptop Resolution to the IFP: Change your laptop’s resolution to match the IFP’s aspect ratio. For example, if the IFP is 16:9, set your laptop's duplicate resolution to 1920x1080.
- Run Windows Touch Calibration: If you cannot change your laptop's native resolution (e.g., a 16:10 screen), manually calibrate the touch point:
- Open the Windows Control Panel and select Tablet PC Settings.
- Under the Display tab, select the external IFP screen and click Calibrate.
- Follow the on-screen prompts by tapping the crosshairs on the IFP to reset the coordinate mapping.
