Why there is no sound when connecting the reading pen to the speaker via an audio cable?

The audio port of most reading pens on the market uses a 3-pin or 4-pin design. Because the audio cable of treVolo U is a 4-pin cable, when a 3-pin reading pen is used it will not work with the speaker. Therefore it is important that when using a recording or reading pen with the speaker, you make sure a 4-pin connector design is used.
