The BenQ Ergo Arm is pre-adjusted with optimal tension at the factory to ensure proper functionality when used with BenQ monitors, preventing any rising or dropping issues.
If you encounter this situation, it indicates that the arm’s tension setting does not match the weight of your monitor. This may happen if your non-BenQ monitor is significantly lighter or heavier (the BenQ Ergo Arm supports monitors 2 kg to 20 kg). To adjust the tension, use the hex wrench included in the product box to modify the tension at the joint between the two sections of the arm.
If your monitor slightly drops, turn the adjustment in the "+" direction to increase the tension.
If your monitor slightly rises, turn the adjustment in the "-" direction to reduce the tension.
