It could be about the display mode you select on your laptop, please follow the instruction below to fix it.
If you are using a Windows laptop:
1. Press Windows Key + P to open the projection option and select Extended
Display.
2. Open the OSD menu of your BenQ projector, select Display > Screen Fill.
3. Right-click on your PC desktop. Select Display Settings, then confirm
Display resolution is set to Recommended.
4. Select Advanced display settings.
5. Change the Refresh Rate to ensure the Desktop mode and Active signal
mode are matched.
If you are using a MacBook:
1. Press Fn + C to open Control Center if you are using a MacBook.
2. Click Screen Mirroring, and select Use as Extended Display.
Please note that screen resolution and refresh rate will be limited to the resolution and refresh rate supported by both your laptop and projector when duplicate mode or Mirror Built-in Retina Display is selected.
