Calibration issues can arise for several reasons. To ensure a successful calibration, please follow these guidelines:
1. Firmware Update: Ensure your monitor's firmware is upgraded to the latest
version. Factory-installed firmware may be limited by regional energy
regulations, affecting display settings. Upgrading will enhance functionality.
2. Connections: Verify that your computer and power connections are secure.
3. Light Sensor: Check that the light sensor, located on the top of the monitor,
is not obstructed.
4. Ambient Lighting: Maintain normal ambient lighting conditions, as
brightness levels are crucial during color calibration. If the Light Sensor
under Auto Calibration is enabled, this is particularly important.
5. Power Supply: Ensure a consistent power supply by keeping the power cord
connected.
6. Disable Functions: Ensure that the Picture-in-Picture (PIP),
Picture-by-Picture (PBP), or GamutDuo functions are disabled before
calibration.
7. Avoid Control Keys: Do not touch the monitor's control keys during the
calibration process.
8. Reset the Monitor: If calibration fails, try resetting the monitor. Navigate to
System > Reset All > YES on the monitor to perform the reset.
