Suppose you want to enjoy the vivid colors and excellent contrast on OLDE monitors, especially the deep black. In that case, you then need to know the information that helps extend their lifespan and protect against burn-in.
What users can do:
1. Select a shorter screen sleep time.
2. Avoid displaying the same image at high brightness for a long time.
3. Or, take advantage of the following BenQ OLED screen protection features.
● Pixel Refresh: Runs for about 6 minutes and “resets” pixel wear.
This helps keep the panel healthy and extend its lifespan.
● Idle Dimmer: Lowers brightness when inactivity is detected and
reduces OLED stress from prolonged high brightness.
● Logo Dimming: Automatically lowers the brightness of static logos or
HUD elements, and prevents image retention or burn-in over time.
● Pixel Shift: Slightly shifts the image position at tiny intervals, and
spreads out pixel usage and prevents burn-in from static content.
