The LaptopBar is magnetically assembled and can be adapted to all laptop sizes. However, a small number of laptops are not suitable for the following reasons.
Hall sensor
The Hall sensor is used to detect changes in the magnetic field for various switch functions in electronic products. In most laptops, the Hall sensor is located in the keyboard area, and in a few models, it might be placed in the screen area. The magnetic structure of the LaptopBar will affect the hall sensor, so the LaptopBar is not suitable for the hall sensor placed in the screen area.
*Models can't use LaptopBar : Lenovo T460, LenovoT14, Lenovo IdeaPad 16 2023, Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 14 2023, Lenovo IdeaPad 14 2023
Laptop surface coating
If you have a leather-coated laptop case, such as the Lenovo ThinkPad X230, the LaptopBar will not work with this model because the magent patch can not be applied to the laptop case.
