ideaCam is used mainly for long-distance video conference purposes, therefore we do not recommend the camera to be used in the environment that is lower than 100 lux. The reasons being that dark environment are generally bad for the eyes, also ideaCam might perform poorly in dark environment, therefore we suggest you use ideaCam in environment which has sufficient lightings or has 200 lux of light.
