If the desk conditions are not suitable for clamping and the tabletop has no hole:
The grommet mount supports a tabletop thickness of 1 cm to 5 cm.
If there is no pre-drilled hole, the tabletop material must be solid enough to handle drilling.
If using the grommet mount, the distance between the hole and the edge of the tabletop might be a concern.
Please note:
The grommet mount requires a fixed position for long-term use. If the user needs to frequently change the installation position or does not want to damage the tabletop, this installation method is not ideal.
Common cable management holes are large enough for grommet installation, but be sure to thread the cables before mounting the clamp.
