BenQ’s New VZ2470H Monitor Blends Minimalist Design With Great Value

Latest Asymmetrical, All-White Display Features Slim Design, Fast Response Time and Eye-Care Technology

02-02-2016

COSTA MESA, Calif. — Feb. 2, 2016 — BenQ America Corp., an internationally renowned provider of visual display solutions, today unveiled its all-new VZ2470H minimalist monitor. Featuring a head-turning asymmetrical design, the modern device combines an ultra-slim bezel, rounded appearance and an all-white elegant exterior. With a 3000:1 contrast ratio, 4-ms GTG response time and Eye-Care technology, the new display makes computer use comfortable and strikingly beautiful in a variety of today’s multipurpose settings.

“Our VZ2470H is part of a pedigree of minimalist monitors that seek to blend seamlessly with today’s contemporary environments,” said J.Y. Hu, vice president, business line management at BenQ America Corp. “It’s our most advanced V-Series monitor to date and proves once again that feature-rich engineering doesn’t need to compromise ergonomics, aesthetics or design.”

Sophisticated, modern and minimalist, BenQ’s 24-inch VZ2470H is the answer to today’s requirements for great value in a sleek device. The stunning full HD unit marries an elegant exterior with performance advancements normally associated with premium-priced monitors. The ultra-slim bezel of the VZ2470H delivers an edge-to-edge experience that makes images, videos and everyday content stand out.

The VZ2470H LED VA panel boosts performance levels with more than 16 million colors and an ultra-high 3000:1 native contrast ratio — delivering an outstanding range of definition that makes images richer, more vibrant and more truthful to their natural appearance. The device comes equipped with a 1920 x 1080p resolution, motion blur reduction capabilities and a fast 4-ms GTG response time, which eliminates the risk of ghosting or any other unwanted artifacts, to take video viewing to a new level of enjoyment. To enhance onscreen collaboration and convenience, the VZ2470H also provides HDMI connectivity and wide 178°/178° viewing angles — letting users tilt the monitors to further facilitate collaboration.

The innovative VZ2470H monitor is part of BenQ’s Eye-Care models designed to increase visual comfort while performing common computer tasks. While conventional screens flicker at a rate of 200 times per second, BenQ’s ZeroFlicker™ technology eliminates flickering at all brightness levels to effectively reduce eye fatigue and provide a more comfortable viewing experience during prolonged sessions of computer use. The embedded Low Blue Light Mode means the panel also filters visual exposure to the release of blue spectrum light. By switching between integrated hotkeys, users can quickly select presets such as multimedia, Web-surfing, office, or reading modes — reducing blue light emission by up to 70 percent during daily use scenarios.

Available now, the VZ2470H monitor retails at $209. More information on BenQ’s full line of products is available at www.BenQ.us.
