The BenQ SP830/831 features HQV (Hollywood Quality Video) processor and BrilliantColor™ technology for outstanding image performance
Irvine April 4, 2007 – BenQ today announces the launch of the SP830/831 WXGA DLP® digital projectors. With high ANSI lumen at 3500/4000, the SP830/831 is ideal for projections in large venues, from small conference room to auditorium and museum exhibition. Both projectors are compatible with Window’s Vista Basic and feature HQV (Hollywood Quality Video) processor, Texas Instrument’s BrilliantColor™ technology, 1280 x 768 WXGA resolution, a sharp contrast ratio of 2000:1 and 2D Keystone correction.
The embedded HQV processor significantly enhances the split-screen function of the projector by delivering superior performance in de-interlacing, noise reduction and scaling with both standard-definition and high-definition signals. The HQV is able to perform the full suite of image-enhancing processing calculations on two simultaneous high definition sources, bringing flawless performance for picture-in-picture or split-screen functions.
Both the SP830/831 feature a zoom control function that offers users to zoom in on specific portions of the displayed image and an off-line cooling function for automatic cooling after unplugging the projector. Furthermore, both projectors boast a wealth of application modes and are compatible with various inputs including DVI-I (with HDCP), component, composite and S-video inputs.
