Europe, 31st of May, 2004 – Computex Taipei once again takes the world stage in June (1/06-5/06). With over 1,000 exhibitors and 3,000 booths, the show will be even larger and more influential this year, cementing its role as a major catalyst within the global IT industry. Among all the excitement of Computex Taipei 2004, BenQ will be there (Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1, Stand D036) to present its innovative product lines and eye-catching booth design. With a booth theme of “Sharing the Game,” BenQ booth at Computex Taipei 2004 will be like none other.
Sharing the Game
June marks an important BenQ milestone with the sponsorship of the UEFA EURO 2004™ games in Portugal. The games, one of the world's most watched, will give BenQ the opportunity to reach a worldwide audience. To honor its affiliation with UEFA EURO 2004™ as its “Official IT and Statistics Partner,” BenQ’s booth will incorporate football motifs and design that will bring the excitement of the sporting event to Computex Taipei 2004.
Product Displays
Visitors to BenQ booth at Computex Taipei 2004 will be treated to a unique array of display areas. The areas will include an e-Home and e-Office scenarios area that provides a glimpse into the world of BenQ’s “Networked Digital Lifestyle Experience.” In addition to these two scenarios, BenQ will also be featuring an area that will showcase BenQs award winning products, such as BenQ’s seven iF (International Forum) Design Award winners.
Product Highlights
Mobile Phone: Combining style and great functionality, BenQ’s line of mobile phones will be exhibited at Computex Taipei 2004. Among them, the BenQ P50 mobile phone featuring Microsoft™ PPC PE 2003 OS, TFT-LCD touch screen and handwriting recognition will be on display. The tri-band BenQ S700 mobile phone, with MP3 player, voice recorder and a 1.3M digital camera, will also be displayed and unveiled in Taiwan for the first time at Computex Taipei 2004.
Joybee: Featuring unique personal flair and great music, BenQ’s Joybee digital audio players will draw the attention of music lovers at Computex Taipei 2004. Inspired by nature, the BenQ Joybee 110 features an organically contoured exterior that is truly distinct from other digital audio players. Equipped with voice recording capabilities, the BenQ Joybee 110 allow recording of up to 3000 minutes of voice data (TVF). Also to be featured is the BenQ Joybee 180 with FM transmitter for easy file sharing. Utilizing exchangeable color covers and straps, the BenQ Joybee 180 is not only a digital audio player, but also a trendy fashion accessory.
LCD TV: Showcasing BenQ’s exclusive Senseye® technology for the human eye, BenQ’s LCD TVs will be out in full force at Computex Taipei 2004. Providing a spacious 46”wide-screen, 600 nits brightness and 800:1 contrast ratio, visitors will experience a whole new meaning of home entertainment with the BenQ DV4680 LCD TV.
LCD Monitor: Providing monitors with lightning fast response times and BenQ’s exclusive Senseye® technology, BenQ LCD monitors are ideal for work or home. With 12 ms response time and a cool contemporary design, visitors will see why the BenQ FP783 LCD monitor is a one of a kind LCD monitor. Also to be showcased is the BenQ FP231W LCD monitor with its spacious 23” wide-screen and 176-degree viewing angle.
Digital Camera: Allowing users the ability to take quality photographs, BenQ’s line of digital cameras are perfect for capturing those priceless moments. Providing 4.2 mega-pixel CCD resolution, the BenQ DC S40 digital camera allows users to take professional quality pictures without all the hassle. Also functioning as a MP3 player and FM radio, users can also enjoy great music while they view their photos. Featuring an ultra-modern lens cover, designed by BenQ’s renowned Lifestyle Design Center, the BenQ DC E40 digital camera is equipped with a touch screen control that puts everything at your fingertips.
Optical Disc Device: Featuring 16X recording and double-layer technology, the BenQ DW1600 is the newest edition to BenQ’s line of optical disc devices. Allowing faster recording time and increased storage capacity, the BenQ DW1600 also incorporates High-Speed Signal Algorithm, delivering consistent writing quality at high recording speeds.
Projector: At 2000 ANSI Lumens with 2000:1 contrast ratio, the BenQ PB2240 data projector delivers quality images at 1024 x 768 Native resolution. Weighing only 1.9 kg (4.18 1bs), the BenQ PB2240 data projector is also lightweight and portable.
