Yes. It is possible to watch Netflix using either of the following 2 methods:
1. Use your own laptop’s (Windows/Chrome/MacOS) Chrome browser to stream Netflix then wirelessly cast it to your projector. Make sure both your projector and the laptop are connected to the same wireless network using either WLAN mode or mobile hotspot mode, then click/activate the "Wireless Projection" app on the home screen before casting.
2. View with Plug-Ins
Watch with an Apple TV / set-top box / gaming console / laptop connected to your projector with an HDMI cable.
Please note that:
(1) You CANNOT cast Netflix onto your projector via mobile device because of copyright protection policies.
(2) There are many apps that can be manually installed from Google Play that allow you to watch Netflix. Please follow these recommended viewing procedures.

To install apps:
1. Go to the Google Play store, then search for the app and download and install it.
2. After installing the app, you can tap "Customize channel" and then choose whether to let the app appear on the launcher.
GV30 supports wireless projection with smartphones (iOS & Android) and laptops (Windows, Chrome & MacOS).
There are 3 ways to stream audio and video contents via wireless projection: WLAN mode, hotspot mode and mobile hotspot mode.
* Please note that, due to the content protection mechanism of subscription-based streaming services, mobile devices cannot mirror or stream the content of certain streaming services, such as Netflix, Fox+, Catchplay, iTunes, etc.
The content you can stream via Airplay and Chromecast:
1. Photos, videos, and music files on your mobile phone.
2. Webpages
3. Content on YouTube
4. Music apps (e.g., Spotify)
5. Office Doc and email apps.
It depends on the Internet bandwidth provided by the Wi-Fi router as well as how many competing wireless devices there are in the environment. If stuttering occurs during projection, please check whether the Wi-Fi is working properly or if it is congested.
GV30 has both 2.4G and 5G channels. We'd recommend switching both your home’s Wi-Fi router and GV30 to the 5G channel for a smoother connection.
Besides WLAN mode, it also offers 2 types of wireless projection modes:
1. Use your mobile as the Wi-Fi hotspot: Turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot on your iPhone or Android phone, connect GV30 to it and start the wireless projection.
2. Use GV30 as the Wi-Fi hotspot: Turn on the Wi-Fi Hotspot on GV30, connect your mobile to it and start the wireless projection. Please note that your mobile won't be able to connect to an external network via your 4G network and only pictures or videos stored in your mobile can be streamed to GV30.
Yes. You can connect to GV30 using a HDMI, a USB-C (to connect to mobiles or laptops that support DisplayPort) or a 1.5 A USB connector to read multimedia files.
You can connect to it via Bluetooth:
1. And use it as a Bluetooth speaker.
2. Or connect to external Bluetooth speakers or headphones.
Yes. You can connect using the projector with a HDMI port.
GV30 supports USB flash drives with capacity of 128GB or below; the format needs to be NTFS, FAT or FAT32.
Yes. You can connect GV30 to a Switch, PS4 and Xbox console using an HDMI cable.

GV30 supports 1080p @ 60Hz content streamed from a USB-C flash drive.
Yes, there will be some minor audio lag, around 300 ms. Listening to music should be okay, but you may experience minor latency when watching movies.
If you want to connect an iPhone directly to the projector, you can choose the Lightning – HDMI cable.
For ideal viewing enjoyment, we recommend a screen size between 80” and 100” when seated 6.9ft to 8.9ft (2.1m to 2.7m) away.
Yes, you can project on a flat, white wall with GV30.
You can set it up instantly with the GV30 built-in auto focus and auto vertical keystone (±40 degrees).
It is strongly suggested to use it with the magnetic base for steady rotation. Please do not let the speaker port be covered by the base during use.
You can also fix GV30 to a tripod without the magnetic base. GV30 is compatible with the standard 1/4'' mounting screw. Please note that the maximum weight capacity of the tripod must exceed 3.5 lb (1.6kg).
GV30 can be charged via USB-C with power bank that supports power delivery (45W, 15V, 3A).
No, GV30 doesn’t support car chargers.
Yes, you can play media content from a USB drive and charge GV30 with an adapter at the same time.
