關於畫面外微弱光線（雜散光）現象，這通常與 DLP（數位光處理）投影技術的光學特性及光機結構設計有關。
DLP 投影機透過數位微鏡裝置（DMD）反射並控制光線，在特定使用條件下，例如全黑環境、特定投射尺寸或鏡頭／變焦位置時，可能會在投影畫面外觀察到少量的雜散光。此現象通常不會影響有效投影畫面的影像品質及正常觀看體驗。
此外，雜散光的可見程度也會受到使用環境影響，例如環境亮度、投影機擺放位置、觀看距離，以及周圍牆面、天花板或家具材質的反射。在全黑環境下，若周圍為白色或高反射材質，微弱光線會較容易被察覺。
若希望降低此現象，可嘗試微調投影機位置或投射尺寸，並減少周圍高反射表面；亦可在投影區域周圍或投影幕邊框使用深色、低反射或吸光材質，以降低環境反射造成的光線擴散。
此款投影機可因應包含具環境光在內的多種觀看情境，提供良好的影像表現。若主要使用情境為全黑家庭劇院，且特別重視暗場表現、黑階及電影觀賞體驗，BenQ W 系列家庭劇院投影機則會是更適合的選擇。
