Even though the projector will be in a box, the amount of dust and other materials from the outside can put a traditional projector with a filter at risk of overheating.  Look for a projector that is sealed – and certified with an IP5X rating or higher, as these eliminate the need to constantly checking and having to clean or replace messy filters.
