Can I use my smartphone as a Wi-Fi Hotspot for the Android TV dongle to connect to?

Yes, you can use your smartphone as a Wi-Fi hotspot. Please turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot setting on your smartphone, connect the projector to it, and then start projecting wirelessly.

 

Please note that the projector does not support music casting while using your smartphone's Wi-Fi hotspot for its wireless connection, due to the limitations of Chromecast.
