For the house mapping to work, you would need the followings:
Hardware:
1) High-Lumen Projector with Short-Throw Lens: A projector with at least 4,000 lumens is recommended for a standard house, with 5,000+ lumens needed for larger homes to overcome ambient light or red brick houses. Short-Throw Lens are highly recommended to reduce the distance needed between the projector and the house.
2) Video Player or Mini-PC: A laptop or a dedicated mini-PC is needed to play back the video content.
3) Video Projector Enclosure (weatherproof box with fan): A secure, waterproof, and vented box is required for the projector to protect it from rain, dust, and sprinklers.
4) Mounting Equipment: Stable ground anchors, poles, or a sturdy table to position the projector at the correct height & angle, protect equipment from theft.
Software & Content:
1) Projection Mapping Software: Specialized software allows you to "warp" the image to match the architectural lines of your house.
2) Content Creation/Editing Tools: Software used to create or edit the visual content (e.g., animated holiday effects).
3) Video Content: Pre-made or custom video loops designed for window or house mapping.
