  • The Button is powered automataically once plugged into your laptop. Charge Host of WDC20 by plugging it into a wall outlet.
  • InstaShow (WDC10/WDC10C) has an outstanding Video/Presentation Mode. Does InstaShow S (WDC20) also have this feature?
  • Embedded with "Auto Switch," InstaShow S (WDC20) detects and changes to either Video or Presentation Mode automatically. There's no need to switch from mode to mode for InstaShow S (WDC20).
  • How to turn on "Split Screen," one of the key features of InstaShow S (WDC20)?

  • There's 2 ways to turn on  "Split Screen" : 

     

    1) Press the "Split Screen Key" on WDC20 Button

     

    2) Click "Split Screen" on the InstaShare app.

  • On "Split Screen" mode, if there are more than one participants doing video mirror, can all the other split screens play video and audio?
  • The last one to cast takes charge of the major screen. Only the major screen can cast video and audio. The other three can only cast images.
  • Can I use "Split Screen" on other devices?
  • "Spit Screen" supports Button, Airplay, and the InstaShare app. If you use Googlecast, "Split Screen" will be turned off atumatically. That's to say, Googlecast only casts but does not support "Split Screen."
  • Will "Touch Back" work with "Split Screen" mode on?
  • Yes. "Touch Back" will still work with "Split Screen" mode on.
  • Can I use "Touch Back" on an interactive flat panel?

  • You can use "Touch Back" on an interactive flat panel under 2 circumstances: 

     

    1) The touch panel of the interactive panel works (USB HID required)

    2) Connect Host to the interactive panel with a USB wire (USB Touch port on the interactive panel)

  • Can I use "Touch Back" when a touch-sensor is attached to my projector?
  • You can use "Touch Back" if both your projecor and touch-sensor support USB HID. Connect your projector to Host with a USB wire.
  • Is "Touch Back" compatible with Mac OS as well as Windows?

  • 1) "Touch Back" supports multi-touch on Windows only. BenQ recommends using "Touch Back" on Powerpoint (Windows). 

    2) "Touch Back" supports single-touch on OS only. BenQ recommends using "Touch Back" on Keynote (MacOS).

  • Is InstaShow S (WDC20) compatible with "Windows Ink"
  • Yes, WDC20 is compatible with "Windows Ink". Please refer to MicroSoft official website for more info.
  • Can my mobile access the internet when connected to Host?
  • Make sure Host is connected to the ethernet if you want to have your mobile connect to the internet.
  • What is the highest resoluton of InstaShow S (WDC20)?
  • Highest output 4K 30p ; highest input 1080p 60p (compatible up to 4K)
  • How to upgrade the firmware of InstaShow S (WDC20)?
  • You can use OTA update to upgrade the firmware. And it must be carried out one by one (batch upgrade is not allowed).
  • Can I shade Host's SSID on screen?
  • Yes, you can shade Host's SSID on screen. Please refer to User Manual for more info.
  • Is InstaShow S (WDC20) compatible with other meeting systems, such as CISCO SX10/SX20 and Polycom group 500?
  • Yes, WDC20 is compatible with CISCO SX10/SX20 and Polycom group 500. You will save a lot of budget by using WDC20.
  • If I buy an InstaShow in one country, can I use it in another country?
  • Your product is in compliance with the local wireless regulations and the warranties are valid in the country/region where the product is purchased. Use of the product outside the purchased country/region does not guarantee the wireless functionalities. BenQ highly recommends that you buy the product in your own country to ensure that it functions properly and that you will have a full warranty and after sales service.
