SYDNEY, Australia, Jul 28, 2016 – ZOWIE, the premium eSports brand by BenQ, will become the new home for all BenQ eSports Monitors. Starting in August, the current lineup of XL and RL series of gaming monitors by BenQ will be refreshed with a new look.
Starting in August, all current models from the XL and RL series of monitors by BenQ will have new model names. The XL2430T, XL2730Z, XL2720Z, XL2411Z, RL2455HM and RL2755HM models by BenQ will be re-released as the BenQ ZOWIE XL2430, XL2730, XL2720, XL2411, RL2455 and RL2755 respectively.
Along with the new name, each model will receive a new look, with the colour of each model changing from Black to Dark Grey. This change has been prompted from feedback by professional players that the high contrast between the black bezel and a bright screen can be exhausting to the human eye. The new Dark Grey colour scheme of the new ZOWIE monitors reduces the contrast between the bezel and the image, as well as reduces potential reflections from the display onto the bezel itself.
The new models will now have the ZOWIE logo embossed on the back of the monitor. The new range will continue to proudly display the BenQ name on both the front and the back of the monitor to align the partnership between BenQ and ZOWIE.

Preorders on the new ZOWIE BenQ eSports Monitors will be available from all ZOWIE partners starting at 1pm today, July 28th.
