In 2015, BenQ launched a new Bluetooth speaker called treVolo.
BenQ treVolo has been developed in cooperation with the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Taiwan’s foremost industrial-technology research body. It combines the advantages of electrostatic loudspeaker and conventional cone loudspeaker, creating sound with pure quality, precise tone, transparent surrounding, and multiple details, as well as thick and solid base tone, on top of distinction and balance for the entire range of high, medium, and low sound. Moreover, BenQ invited professional tuners with over 25 years of experience from the U.S., Japan, and Taiwan to tune the device, enabling it to achieve optimal sound quality. Consequently, many international professional magazines and websites have strongly recommended the product to consumers.
BenQ treVolo won the Best Choice Award of Computex 2015: The World’s First Portable Electrostatic Speaker.
Based on those accumulated technologies and know-how, BenQ is upgrading sound quality crossover on all product lines.
Recently, BenQ announced the World's 1st Portable Mini Projector with 2.1 channel, built-in Bluetooth speakers. Meanwhile, BenQ's high-end LCD monitors are designed with the treVolo DSP and 2.1 channel or 2 channel speakers.
No matter how good it is, it's meaningless if it's not easy to use. BenQ has provided a dedicated remote controller for some models of EX & EW series.
