A major factor when installing a golf simulator is the installation requirements. The ceiling height and space must be high enough to safely swing a golf club.
Additionally, the size of the screen and its distance from the projector are important. In addition to the need for a certain distance from the projector to the impact screen, the size of the screen and its aspect ratio are also important to note.
The LH820ST laser projector for golf from BenQ has a short-throw design that enables a large 200-inch screen at a distance of 2.8m, making it possible to build a simulation golf environment even in a small space, greatly lowering the hurdle for installation conditions.
Furthermore, the impact screen is equipped with various adjustment functions to realize full screen image projection with no blackout at the top and bottom.
The system is equipped with flexible installation features to accommodate any installation environment, including a vertical and horizontal trapezoidal correction function that corrects image distortion and supports image projection from the side, a corner alignment function that aligns the four corners of the screen perfectly, and a digital reduction function that adjusts the projected image size to match the screen size, enabling the construction of simulation golf courses even in spaces that have been difficult to achieve in the past.

Projection distance: 310 cm
Installed product: BenQ LH820ST laser projector
Nankai Golf LABO has adopted the LH820ST in combination with the SkyTrak golf simulator to provide a realistic golf experience even in the limited environment of a test hitting range.
The Nankai Golf Labo's impact screen had an irregular size of 3,680mm (W) x 2,590mm (H), "but by using the LH820ST's various correction functions, we were able to project images on the full screen without margins," said MIZUNO/PING certified club fitter, Retsu Kakikubo, who gave his approval of the LH820ST's performance as a golf projector.
To construct the golf simulation, Kakikubo selected a projector with a short focal length that would not reflect the shadows of people, even at a ceiling height of 3m, and that would be able to project onto the entire screen.
After contacting various manufacturers directly and considering them, "BenQ was the only company that met all of our requirements," he recalls.
Furthermore, BenQ's unique "free loaner service" was a major factor in our decision to install BenQ's projectors.
Kakikubo says, "I stumbled across the lending service while searching the Internet and immediately contacted them."
In response to the thought, "I was still too anxious to purchase the product unless I tested the installation in an actual environment," the customer responded, "While I wasn't even sure if I would purchase the product, you kindly responded to me, and as a result, I borrowed two models and was satisfied with the results, so I was able to purchase the product with peace of mind.
They were also very satisfied with BenQ's services.
