Overview
Al Andalus International School, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were looking to enhance their teaching and display equipment, keeping the increasing needs of blended learning in mind. With the ongoing pandemic already having disrupted school schedules, the administration wanted to upgrade their teaching tools in order to impart better virtual education and minimize harmful contact. The school’s existing solutions needed an upgrade that had advanced interactive features for learning. Looking at how BenQ solutions are helping transform methods of imparting education in other schools in the region, Al Andalus' administration and staff approached them. Al Andalus installed 80 of these Education Interactive Flat Panel Displays across the entire school. Issue
Al Andalus School is a prestigious international academic institution in Jeddah Saudi Arabia with especially designed creativity rooms and audio/visual learning centers apart from their science and IT labs to facilitate holistic learning. Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, however, the school had to make a rapid shift to hosting all classes virtually. They wanted to ensure that their students have access to their quality education despite the challenges posed by the situation. Collaboration and interactivity was taking a big hit to the lack of physical interaction in classrooms. The administrating and teaching staff did not want to compromise on the quality of learning for their students, who have all been attending classes from their respective homes.
Solution
After sampling a range of BenQ’s solutions for education, the administration at Al Andalus found the RM7502K education interactive flat panel fit their needs more than others. They installed 80 units of the RM7502K across their campus to enable teachers to host live virtual classes from the school while teaching physical attendees simultaneously. This reduces duplicity of effort for the teachers and eliminates any loss of school-based learning for the virtual students. The whiteboard solutions are especially useful in current day project-based and blended learning that Al Andalus strives to foster. The school’s teachers agree and feel that the latest educational tool can prove to be even more beneficial when normal full-time school schedules resume. this will be even more useful in the time to come when full-attendance resumes in schools.
Result
