Plan and Setup Your Golf Simulator Room

This guide walks you through the essentials—step by step.

1. Pick the Right Screen Size

Screen size is usually optimized to match the height and width of your space. Choosing a screen that closely fits your room dimensions helps create a more immersive and realistic golf simulation experience. We suggest using a standard aspect ratio (16:9, 16:10, 4:3, or 1:1) so you can take full advantage of our golf projector’s feature and get a perfectly fitted image.

.

Visualize Your Space

  1. Enter Your Room Size
─ We'll Recommend the Ideal Image Size

*If you're using an enclosure, enter its height and width. Ideally,
the projector lens should align with the enclosure height

Aspect Ratio: 4:3
109.0" (W) × 81.8" (H)(Assuming the impact screen border is less then 2.5")

2. Know Your Golf Sim Essentials

.

a) Impact Screen and Enclosure:

An impact screen is essential for displaying visuals. Enclosures are optional but help protect your surroundings and contain mis-hits.

.

b) Launch Monitor:

The core sensor that tracks your swing data—club speed, launch angle, carry distance, and more—using infrared, laser, or camera-based tech.

.

c) Device with Software:

A PC, laptop, or iPad is needed to run simulation software and render realistic golf scenarios. Make sure your software is compatible with your launch monitor.

*If you're using an iPad, the image aspect ratio is limited to approximately 4:3 due to device constraints.

.

d) Hitting Mat:

With hitting mats, quality is everything. Indoor golfers hit more often, and a poor mat can cause strain. Look for mats with hitting inserts or built-in alignment aids.

.

e) Lighting:

Optional, but helpful. Some golfers prefer added lighting to enhance visuals and improve sensor performance in darker rooms.
