When I turn on Dynamic Iris, I notice a diagonal halo. How can this be corrected?

03-23-2023

The observed phenomenon is caused by the Dynamic Iris installation position and its hardware design in optical engine. While it is not prominent in most of the static or moving scenes, it can be observed in certain viewing scenario with patterns as below:

1. The Dynamic Iris function is switched to “High” in the OSD menu   &

2. There’re small objects with high brightness in dark scenes

If the phenomenon is being observed in such patterns and you want to get rid of it, we suggest you switch off the Dynamic Iris function to improve the viewing experience.

Kindly note that the Dynamic Iris technology is intended to enhance the dynamic contrast for moving pictures. We highly recommend you try this special feature of your W5700 projector and feel the difference that it brings for your home theater experience!
