How can I use VCP to control the monitor?

To control the monitor using VCP commands, you must first ensure that you have permission to access the I2C port.

By default, standard user accounts do not have I2C access. You must grant permission to /dev/i2c-* using either chmod or udev rules; otherwise, VCP commands will not function.
