Why isn't my keyboard/mouse working on the monitor’s built-in USB hub? How to connect my keyboard/mouse to the monitor?

07-09-2024

External devices, such as the keyboard and mouse, cannot work on the monitor if the USB ports (downstream) on the monitor are not activated.

After USB ports (downstream) are activated, external devices that use these ports can start working on the monitor.

Depending on your monitor connection ports, USB ports (downstream) can be activated in one of the following ways:

- If the video source is USB-C or Thunderbolt 3, USB ports (downstream)
   will be activated automatically.

- If not, connect your computer to the USB port (upstream) on the monitor with
the complimentary USB (USB-B to USB-A) cable. Then, connect USB devices
via the other USB ports (downstream) on the monitor for data transmission.
