Why can I not connect the Switch 2 to my projector with USB-C cable?
Regarding the connection issue related to the USB-C port on the Nintendo Switch 2.Please be aware that, due to limitations imposed by Nintendo, most third-party devices and direct connections to external displays with USB-C will not function correctly.Specifically, while the Switch 2 features a USB-C port, Nintendo has implemented special USB-C protocols, new encryption measures, and revised power delivery requirements. As a result, simply connecting a USB-C cable to an external display will not work in most cases, and most third-party adapters or hubs will also be incompatible. To connect with an external display, such as a BenQ portable projector, you must utilize the official dock from Nintendo and connect it with an HDMI cable. We will continue to observe this issue and work towards improving our products. However, the resolution for this particular issue ultimately lies with Nintendo.

Why does the projected image look tilted after the Keystone adjustment?
About the reason why the display looks slightly tilted after Keystone adjustment, we would like to share the following with you:The main reason is due to an optical illusion caused by the size and shape difference between the dark zone and the image on the screen.
About the reason why the display looks slightly tilted after Keystone adjustment, we would like to share the following with you:
The main reason is due to an optical illusion caused by the size and shape difference between the dark zone and the image on the screen.
When seeing such a shape difference, the human brain interprets visual information in a way that differs from the actual physical reality. These illusions can create images that deceive our perception, leading us to see things that aren't there and misinterpret sizes.
To avoid the issue, we would suggest focusing only on the displayed image and confirming that the image is square by measuring the length of the sides and making sure they are about the same.
If the length difference is considerable, please let us know.

How can I apply the bi-directional CEC function on the projector?
Regarding the CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) functionality on BenQ projectors. We understand your expectation for full bi-directional CEC support. However, after careful consideration of usage scenarios, we have designed our projector to limit CEC control to one-way communication. This approach helps avoid unintended behaviors such as powering on all connected source devices simultaneously when the projector sends a CEC power-on command. In certain setups, this could cause user inconvenience or confusion. Additionally, it is important to note that not all source devices respond consistently to CEC commands—some may ignore power-on signals altogether. We truly appreciate your understanding, and we will continue to work on the possible implementation of bi-directional CEC features in future updates and models. Should you have any further questions or suggestions, please feel free to reach out.

Why is some of the color only looks different with monitor output in high-brightness model?
High-brightness projectors are engineered to deliver exceptional luminance, making them ideal for environments with strong ambient light, such as large conference rooms, auditoriums, or outdoor settings.Achieving this high brightness often involves technical trade-offs that can influence color reproduction. For users who are more sensitive to color accuracy, we recommend choosing the medium Lumens projectors with pure RGB color source and high color space such as our W4000i, W2720i and W5850, or you may provide us with the usage scenario and we’ll recommend the most suitable model for you.We continuously strive to improve our products by integrating advanced technologies that enhance both brightness and color accuracy. Thank you for your understanding and continued trust in our products.
