The message is the result of a safety mechanism we added in the V14.1.0.81 firmware version for the battery.The function is to stop charging the battery when the battery temperature is too high.The notice message will pop up, and you can press the return key (GV50) / OK key (GV31) to close the message. You can then continue to use the projector as is. The projector will still function normally and be powered by the power cable. It will only stop battery charging.After the battery temperature goes down to a normal range, it will begin charging again.If the message pops up very often or cannot be closed, please contact BenQ Support for further assistance.

Why is Audio lower when using Netlfix on my GV Projector?
Most Netflix content on Google TV defaults to 5.1 surround sound. Since the GV projector only supports stereo, the audio may sound quieter after the projector processes the signal. This is normal behavior and cannot be adjusted on the device side.To improve the volume:Please check the Netflix audio settings for the video you are watching. If a "Stereo" option is available, please select it.If no stereo option is available, please manually increase the volume on your projector.

If the battery reaches a critical state, you will receive a notification advising you to contact BenQ Support for a professional check-up and replacement.You will see this notification whenever you turn on the projector or wake it from sleep mode (after being asleep for more than 10 minutes).

If you experience a slower system when you turn on your Google TV projector, it may be downloading a mandatory firmware update in the background. This process takes approximately 10 to 30 minutes, depending on your internet speed. Once the download finishes, the update will be installed automatically during the next boot sequence.Please note that you will not see a notification for this type of mandatory update, and you may notice a longer startup time while they are in progress.If you would like to know more about the updates, please check our official product webpage.

The main reason is due to an optical illusion caused by the size and shape difference between the dark zone and the image on the screen.
When seeing such a shape difference, the human brain interprets visual information in a way that differs from the actual physical reality. These illusions can create images that deceive our perception, leading us to see things that aren't there and misinterpret sizes.
To avoid the issue, we would suggest focusing only on the displayed image and confirming that the image is square by measuring the length of the sides and making sure they are about the same.
