Leading-Class Education IFPs Selected for Innovative Cloud-Based Collaboration Features

COSTA MESA, Calif. — Aug. 20, 2020BenQ, an internationally renowned provider of visual display and collaboration solutions, is being recognized by Spaces4Learning — a leading publication for education institutions, the architectural community, service providers, and others interested in creating high-quality facilities. A panel of judges from the industry awarded the RP02 Series Interactive Flat Panels (IFP) with a Platinum K-12 AV Technology Award and a Platinum Higher Ed AV Technology Award.

“While we created the RP02 for schools and universities to build an engaging and healthy teaching and learning environment out of the box, we are invested in helping schools adapt to hybrid and virtual models using the same tools,” said Carly Burton-Sallay, digital marketing manager at BenQ America Corp. “To be honored in both the K-12 and higher-ed categories for the same product is true a testament of the thoughtful engineering and development that went into creating a flexible, easy-to-use collaboration solution that benefits learning at any level and in any environment.”

BenQ’s RP02 IFP empowers teachers with the tools they need to create an engaging learning environment, whether students are in the classroom or joining online. It features BenQ’s EZWrite 5, the leading cloud-based annotation solution, and InstaShare wireless collaboration application to create an interactive and collaborative classroom. The cloud whiteboard capabilities allow users to interact with the screen from their mobile device. EZWrite’s built-in Floating Tool empowers teachers to write on top of any app, video, website, document, or image. Whether using Windows, Mac, Chrome, or Android, a teacher can take notes on top of any content and save them. With screen capture, it allows users to capture all — or just part — of the screen. InstaShare smoothly streams audio files and full HD quality videos from any device. Users can also mirror and control all digital content across the devices, including BenQ IFP, PCs, tablets, and smartphones.

The IFP also features a germ-resistant, 20-point multi-touch screen with BenQ's Smart Eye-Care solution, which protects users from blue light, flicker, and glare. For ease of connectivity, there are convenient front I/O ports with USB-C as well as an NFC reader, which allows instructors to swipe a key card or ID badge to quickly access their settings and cloud accounts, such as Google Drive. Because audio goes hand in hand with learning, the RP02 also is equipped with a 15W subwoofer base and an eight-array microphone with embedded noise cancellation to clearly capture instruction for live and recorded sessions.
