BenQ Australia are pleased to announce the acclaimed EW2420 24” LED monitor – part of a ‘world first’ VA-panel series recently released by BenQ internationally – is now available to Australian consumers.

Featuring 16:9 Full HD VA-panel LED for wider viewing angle at 178?/178?, true 3000:1 Native Contrast Ratio and BenQ’s proprietory Senseye® Human Vision Technology, the EW2420 will appeal to consumers who value visual enjoyment and are looking for a screen that goes above and beyond the normal call of duty.

VA – or Vertical Alignment – represents the latest advancement in computer monitor technology, offering better colour reproduction, an ultra-high contrast ratio and the ability to display true black with zero bright dot (ZBD) minimising light leakage. They also provide a wider viewing angle compared to regular Twisted Nematic (TN) panels, so the monitor can be shared across the room with more people.

The EW2420 VA LED monitor delivers with the latest LED technology and cutting-edge innovation for a wider viewing angle and unprecedented visual performance via blacker blacks, a higher contrast for truly authentic colour and sharper ‘crystal clear’ detail.

“The EW2420 will appeal to the digital video enthusiast as it comes with a wide range of ports, enhancing the enjoyment of video viewing without interruption. A plethora of digital devices can remain plugged in simultaneously and the user may switch between gaming console, DVD player, webcam, PC, iPod without plugging, unplugging and switching cables,” she said.

Further enhanced by BenQ’s proprietary Senseye® Human Vision Technology, producing richer, fuller, clearer and more detailed images even in dark scenes, the EW2420 has six preset modes giving users the luxury of one-touch optimisation for the most popular applications: Game, Movie, sRGB, Standard, Photo and even Eco mode for power saving.
