Prior to the main event, Camera Electronic held a pre-event boxing night which became the inaugural live unveiling of the BenQ SW240 with the Accurate Colour on the Go prototype. During this fantastic event the Accurate Colour on the Go prototype was live in action tethered to a Nikon D850 that was graciously provided by Nikon for use on the night.
Photo Live Expo 2018 saw hundreds of avid photographers flood through the doors of the Novotel Langley Perth to explore what was on offer including; photo walks, talks and demonstrations from professional photographers, vendors booths and activations. Major brands such as Nikon, Canon, Fujifilm, Leica, Olympus and DJI were all on display offering event only specials. BenQ not only had an official showing of the SW240 Monitor with the Accurate Colour on the Go concept but also had a live demonstration of its SW271 4K colour accurate monitor.
Professional Photographers and BenQ Ambassadors Dan Avila and Alex Cearns joined the BenQ booth to demonstrate and talk about BenQ Colour Accurate monitors and the Accurate Colour on the Go concept to Photo Live Expo guests.
During Alex’s talk at Photo Live, she demonstrated the integration of the Accurate Colour on the Go concept into her workflow on stage. Adam Monk and Mark Galer also spoke about BenQ Colour Management monitors in their respective talks and how they have improved their professional workflow.
Photo Live Expo 2018 was all in all an incredibly successful event which brought speakers, workshops, photo walks and vendors to a single location. Thanks to Camera Electronic and their team for putting together such fantastic event in the heart of Perth. The BenQ Australia team are looking forward to what’s in store for 2019!
