Competition Details

Online Competition:

The theme of this contest is "Life at my Uni Campus". Participants will need to design an A4 poster with this theme that would attract
the attention of passerbies and encourage them to join the university from a lifestyle perspective. Entrants will need to individually complete this task, and
photos must be taken utilising a phone camera.

1: Participants take a photo with a phone camera.

2: On top of the original photo, participants can edit and add digital drawings, illustrations, or design elements using
any software (e.g., Photoshop, Procreate, Illustrator, Canva, etc.). 

3: Participants upload their final artwork (combined photo + digital painting) through the official competition submission form. 

4: A panel of judges (industry experts, brand ambassadors) will review submissions based on creativity, visual impact, and relevance to the theme. 

5. Finalists will then be invited to an in-person showcase event.

In-person Event:

1: Finalists will be provided a photography and editing task on the day.

2: Finalists will be provided cameras courtesy of Fujifilm to utilise, and be able to make final touch-ups using BenQ professional monitors for colour accuracy.

3: Guidance will be provided on the day before these entries are judged by the panel.

Requirements

1. Participants must not use any AI generated material.

2. Participants must be attending UNSW or USYD and residing in ANZ during the times of the competition.

3. Participants must follow the relevant requirements of their university (membership of a society, etc.) to enter the competition.

4. Entries close for UNSW participants at 11:59PM on the 19th of September, 2025 (UTC +10).
Entries will close for USYD participants at 11:59PM on the 28th of October, 2025 (UTC +11). 

5. Entries for each university will be judged by Ian Van Der Wolde. Finalists for UNSW will be announced on the 24th of September, and finalists for USYD will be announced on the 2nd of November.

6. Entries posted after the deadlines will not be judged and not be eligible for prizes.

7. Prizes are not exchangable for cash, or other products.

8. Finalists at the in-person event will be required to use the equipment provided on the day, and winners will be announced on the same day as well.

9. All entries remain property and ownership of the respective creator, however, by entering the content into the competition,
they grant approval for both BenQ Australia and/or Fujifilm a non-exclusive, royalty-free, world license to use, reproduce,
and/or share this content across its marketing channels, including but not limited to social media, websites, digital ads, and in-store displays.

10. BenQ Australia reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any participants for breaching any of the required rules.

11. All personal data collected for entries and prize fulfilment (e.g. name, contact info, mailing address)
will be used solely for contacting people and handled in accordance with BenQ Australia's privacy policy.

12. BenQ Australia reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the campaign at any time without notice.

13. In the event of a dispute, BenQ Australia’s decision is final and binding.

14. For the BenQ AU marketing internship position, this offer will be given after background checks and completion of an interview process.
