Parish Kohanim is a renowned commercial photographer and fine art photographer with passion for the subtle beauty of life. After living in San Francisco and New York he decided to open his studio in Atlanta where he has been very successful in his commercial endeavors for many years.
Commitment, passion and love to elicit and share “simple beauty” is the paradigm of Parish’s intuitive philosophy of three decades of photography. Consistently original, diverse, inventive and timeless are the hallmarks of his photography.
Having an insatiable desire to explore and expand his artistic horizons, he remains true to his approach of simplicity and the visual dialogue that is innate. A self-taught photographer, holding a degree in film, Parish has always taken the craft of photography very seriously and has never been interested in following ephemeral trends.
During his career, he has worked commercially for many Fortune 500 Companies, IBM, Coca-Cola, DeBeers to name a few. Having an insatiable desire to explore and expand his artistic horizons, he still remains true to his approach to simplicity and to the visual dialogue that is intuitive and innate.
“Photography has given me an expanded vision of the world, elevating my passion and profound appreciation for the majestic beauty of nature and all life. There’s no substitute for such profound pleasure, joy and fulfillment documenting such splendid beauty.” By Parish Kohanim.
