BenQ Launches the BenQ Board CP05 with Edge AI for Smarter, More Secure Meetings

Based on publicly available AI Benchmark results for IoT devices, the CP05 delivers AI performance up to 3.8x higher than commonly used alternative platforms, enabling AI-driven features such as meeting transcription, handwriting recognition, gesture control and image analysis to run locally on the device with immediate responsiveness and consistent performance.

By handling AI workloads on device rather than in the cloud, the CP05 also adds an important layer of data privacy for organizations that manage sensitive discussions and confidential information. Meeting content stays within the room, reducing data exposure while maintaining productivity.

BenQ introduces SummarAI as part of its growing AI software ecosystem. SummarAI records meeting audio, transcribes conversations into text, and automatically generates concise summaries for post-meeting review. Users can also capture on-screen content and key moments during meetings, helping teams document decisions and action items without interrupting collaboration.

The CP05 features an integrated 50-megapixel camera with a 160-degree field of view, providing full coverage for meeting rooms of various sizes. AI-powered Gallery View mode dynamically frames participants to create a more natural and inclusive video conferencing experience.

Intelligent voice tracking and gesture control automatically highlight active speakers, reducing the need for manual camera adjustments and keeping all participants engaged.

The BenQ Board CP05 is Pantone Validated and SkinTone Validated, delivering professional-grade color accuracy with 95% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. Specialized display modes support a wide range of professional use cases, including color matching for Macbook users, DICOM for medical image viewing, creative work, technical drawings, and text-heavy tasks.

The CP05 integrates smoothly into enterprise IT environments. BenQ’s MeetingRoom System allows users to view schedules and manage meetings directly on the display, while IT teams benefit from centralized oversight and simplified room management.
