GS50 supports wireless projection with smartphones (iOS & Android) and laptops (Windows, Chrome & MacOS).
There are 3 ways to stream audio and video contents via wireless projection: WLAN mode, hotspot mode and mobile hotspot mode.
* Please note that, due to the content protection mechanism of subscription-based streaming services, mobile devices cannot mirror or stream the content of certain streaming services, such as Netflix, Fox+, Catchplay, iTunes, etc.
The content you can stream via Airplay and Chromecast:
1. Photos, videos, and music files on your mobile phone.
2. Webpages
3. Content on YouTube
4. Music apps (e.g., Spotify)
5. Office Doc and email apps.
It depends on the Internet bandwidth provided by the Wi-Fi router as well as how many competing wireless devices there are in the environment. If stuttering occurs during projection, please check whether the Wi-Fi is working properly or if it is congested.
GS50 has both 2.4G and 5G channels. We'd recommend switching both your home’s Wi-Fi router and GS50 to the 5G channel for a smoother connection.
Besides WLAN mode, it also offers 2 types of wireless projection modes:
1. Use your mobile as the Wi-Fi hotspot: Turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot on your iPhone or Android phone, connect GS50 to it and start the wireless projection.
2. Use GS50 as the Wi-Fi hotspot: Turn on the Wi-Fi Hotspot on GS50, connect your mobile to it and start the wireless projection. Please note that your mobile won't be able to connect to an external network via your 4G network and only pictures or videos stored in your mobile can be streamed to GS50.

2. Or connect to external Bluetooth speakers or headphones.

Playing media content is supported with USB-A, but not with USB-C.

For ideal viewing enjoyment, we recommend a screen size between 80” and 100” when seated 6.9ft to 8.9ft (2.1m to 2.7m) away.
Yes, you can project on a flat, white wall with GS50.
You can set it up instantly with the GS50 built-in auto focus and 2D Keystone (Auto Vertical, Manual Horizontal ± 40 Degrees).

No, GS50 doesn’t support car chargers.
Yes, you can play media content from a USB drive and charge GS50 with an adapter at the same time.
Unlike LCDs, mobiles and tablets, which emit blue light, projectors project light onto a wall or screen so that it does not hit the eyes directly, producing less irritation and damage.
Equipped with an Eye-Protection Sensor, GS50 will shut down the LED light automatically to prevent strong light from entering the eyes in case that curious kids peep into the lens.
What's more, GS50 is IPX2 splash-proof and 2.3ft(70cm) drop-proof. Your kids can play indoors as well as outdoors carefreely, without safety concerns.
The Built-in 2.1 channel (5Wx2 midrange tweeter + 10W woofer) speakers by treVolo bring strong sound and a powerful bass. The ported cabinet design creates more output at low frequencies to deliver cinematic sound effects. You can hear more details with uncompromised, immersive sound.
