  • How often do I need to calibrate my monitor?
  • We suggest calibrating your monitor every two weeks but no later than 1 month to maintain color accuracy. 

  • What is hardware calibration and how it can help me?
  •  Hardware calibration is to adjust colors by adjusting color IC settings of the monitor to achieve accurate colors. You can thus get a color-accurate monitor.

  • What do I need to do hardware calibration my monitor?
  • Please download BenQ Palette Mater Element (at BenQ.com support page) first to support hardware calibration. Then use a calibrator to do hardware calibration. BenQ Photographer monitor SW series now supports X-Rite i1 Display Pro / i1 Pro / i1 Pro 2 /i1 Studio, Datacolor Spyder 4 / Spyder 5 / Spyder X, Colormunki Photo

  • Do I need to calibrate my monitor every time before I use it?
  • With factory-cablibrated results, you can enjoy your color critical work just out of the box with numerous preset color modes. Still we highly recommed cablibrating your monitor after use for a while. 

  • Can I install and use other third party calibration software?
  • Yes. If you would like to do hardware calibration, besides BenQ Palette Master Element software, it is suggested to apply LightSpace CAL and CalMAN Studio which can fully access to adjust the color setting on the monitor. You can also do software calibration with 3rd party software like i1 profiler. 

  • Where can I download Palette Master Element software?
  • Please go to BenQ support site to download the software. https://www.benq.com -> PhotoVue Photographer Monitor -> SW321C -> support (or download)

  • What is the specification of the USB-C port?
  • The USB-C port supports Video/Audio/Data/Power delivery. 

  • Can I use USB-C to charge my Macbook pro?
  • Yes. The monitor's USB-C port delivers 60W which is sufficient to Windows laptop/Macbook/Macbook pro.

    Please check with your laptop manufacturer to see if the USB-C port on your laptop supports DP alt mode, power and data trnasmission.
