According to the International Color Consortium (ICC), ICC profile is a set of data that characterizes a color input or output device. The profiles typically describe the color attributes of a particular device by defining the mapping between the device source and a profile connection space.
The ICCsync simplifies the whole ICC profile mapping process. Once ICCsync is activated, designers no longer need to adjust the operating system's ICC profile every time they want to switch to a different color gamut.
Click the icon "x" on the upper right corner of "create" layout and then you can create a new one again by selecting a template, editing to your preferred layout and saving it.
It will show these 2 messages even though you're not using our compatible models. (Mac version only shows "system" in non-compatible models ). However, Display Pilot can only function in compatible models.
If you select "cancel," the notice would pop out again 6 days later. If you select "never show again," the notice would never show again. If you want to be notified again, turn on "auto update notice" again after you've turned them off.
Please refer to "Download" page for more details.
In macOS, when you launch ICCsync, your Mac will apply the color profiles you've selected in an instant. However, you will not see the color switch in Windows due to the OS architecture. To check if your Windows laptop has applied the selected color profile, you can:
1. Open your Photoshop or any application which reads the embedded ICC profiles, you will see that the color profile is applied and displayed correctly.
2. Follow the path to check:
Right-click your desktop, then select Display Settings > Advanced Display Settings > Color Settings, then go to Color management > Select your device on the Device tab, then you can see the corresponding ICC profile at the list below.
No. ICCsync only works with the ICC profiles BenQ monitors support. You can obtain these ICC profiles by downloading the Display Pilot software.
If your Mac is set to allow apps from the App Store and identified developers, and you try to install an app that isn’t signed by an identified developer or—in macOS Catalina—notarized by Apple, you will see a warning that the app cannot be opened. That’s why you cannot install Display Pilot on your Mac. You can control-click the app in Finder, choose Open from the menu, and then click Open in the dialog that appears. Then enter your admin name and password to open the app. Then you can install or open Display Pilot on Mac.
No. Due to the compatibility issues with Mac Mini, current Display Pilot does not fully support Mac Mini systems.
