Accurately reproducing the color gamut brings the scene right back to your eyes.
BenQ PhotoVue Photographer monitors SW series all have been certified by Technicolor, which guarantees the white point (color temperature), gamut, gamma curve and color differences are well within Technicolor’s requirement. Accurate color reproduction is assured with wide color gamut 10-bit IPS panel and stable brightness, even from different angles. To fulfill photographer’s workflow, SW series monitors comply with 99% Adobe RGB, 100% sRGB, and 100% Rec.709 color gamut specifications, allowing the original colors to be accurately transformed and reproduced from the actual scene with full details and color tones. Hence, image review and retouching can be done in great color precision, and the final reproduction can be guaranteed.
SW series monitors can significantly improve RGB color blending accuracy with built-in 14-bit 3D LUT, resulting in impeccable color and gray tone reproduction. Therefore, Delta E≤2 could be delivered under both Adobe RGB and sRGB color gamuts. BenQ’s exclusive Palette Master Element calibration software incorporates hardware calibration technology, which allows photographers to adjust the monitor’s internal image processing IC without altering graphics card’s data and the colors will not being affected by graphic card settings. Users can use calibrators from both X-rite and DataColor to implement Palette Master Element calibration and achieve consistent and accurate colors in their workflow easily.
Hardware calibration allows you to adjust the image processing chip in the monitor without changing the graphics card output data. It keeps images consistent with its original copies without being affected by graphic settings.
Hotkey Puck lets you switch between Adobe RGB, sRGB, and Black & White modes effortlessly. The buttons can also be customized to map other modes or OSD settings, such as brightness and contrast to bring added convenience to photographers.
The SW series includes a detachable shading hood that effectively reduces screen glare from ambient lighting, ensuring superb color accuracy required for professional work. The shading hood can be used in both portrait and landscape orientations.
