TAIPEI, TAIWAN, May 19, 2014 — The “Greater-Taipei Smart Shopping Zone” was kicked off on May 19 and the “intelligent shopping mobile displays,” jointly forged by BenQ and the Institute for Information Industry (III), have been introduced to the general public – a testimonial of the BenQ Group’s foray into commercial application.
This project, under the guidance of Department of Industrial Technology (DOIT) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and overseen by New Taipei and Taipei City government together, was designed for the provision of complete information on discounts offered by local businesses and cloud-end smart business service. BenQ Corp., backed its affiliate companies dedicated to research and development of display technology, including the world’s top TFT LCD display provider, has successfully demonstrated its core competiveness in the offering of display products that fit in versatile usage applications, notably those for information-oriented services and industrial applications offered to clients around the world.
